The Entroido Ribeirao is an ancient carnival once held in several riverside villages of Chantada (Lugo). Under the dictatorship it resisted the oppression of the Church and the regime; today it resists rural depopulation thanks to the work of the Amigos do Entroido Ribeirao association. It is now only celebrated at O Moredo, in the village of Santiago da Riba. This documentary travels through the past and the present to learn about the future…
